Diagnosed with Paget’s Disease
of the breast and high grade intraductal carcinoma in July of

Cholesterol Levels
My cholesterol and triglycerides have been high since I was a teenager. Since my diet was healthy and I exercised, most doctors concluded that these high levels were hereditary. I tried to lower them by exercising and changing my diet even more, but it didn't work. Finally, my doctor suggested I take a statin drug with possible liver damage as a side effect. Diabetes
In the Bible, the book of Genesis tells us the story of creation, and God makes an interesting statement in Genesis 2:16: “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat”. This tells us that everything that man would ever need was already here, and all we would need would be someone to guide us to the appropriate ones that would heal us of any problem we might encounter. Such a man is Mark Stengler, N.D., and in his book, The Natural Physician’s Healing Therapies, Dr. Mark reveals to us which ones would produce natural cures for the illnesses that would befall man.
Late April 2005, I was diagnosed with type 2, insulin-resistant diabetes. My fasting glucose was 220 and my A1c was 9.8! Not wanting to take prescription drugs with their dangerous side effects, I immediately consulted Dr. Mark’s book mentioned above. I got a glucose meter and began charting my readings. I changed my eating habits and in five days was able to show my local doctor that I would be able to get my diabetes under control without medication! In the meantime, I got Dr. Balch’s new book, co-authored by Dr. Stengler, Prescription for Natural Cures and started learning what I needed to take. After showing this to my local doctor, I accepted that doctor’s challenge to try this for three weeks and bring back more spreadsheet data.
By the end of the three week challenge, my fasting glucose reading was in the low to mid-130 ranges! It was obvious that with God’s help, I could do this without medication. I continued consulting the two books and experimenting. I got my second blood test last week, and today, September 20, 2005, my local doctor went over the report with me. My fasting glucose was 126 and my A1c is 7.1… pretty good for three to four months! I continue to research and know I will continue to get my metabolism back in balance. I have been suffering from the symptoms
of ulcerative colitis for the past six years, with each successive

Ear, Nose and Throat
My daughter, Zaina started having recurrent ear infections at age 3, and was repeatedly treated with antibiotics and antihistamines, but the fluid behind her ears never cleared up except for a few weeks. She was continually stuffed-up also and very irritable due to the medications. After nearly a year of going back and forth to the ENT specialists, I was told she must have surgery.... tubes and removal of her tonsils and adenoids. I did some research and was not convinced, although three ENT doctors all told me the same thing and kept giving antibiotics to no avail.
I finally had her blood tested for allergies, and by surprise found she is not allergy-prone at all. Zaina kept getting infections and fevers, then she had pneumonia. After six days of antibiotic injections, her chest cleared up but the fluid behind the ears did not. Obviously, this wasn't working! Just a few weeks after that, she developed a high fever that lasted nine days. Again, her pediatrician treated her with antibiotics, but the fever continued to remain high and I was very afraid for my daughter. Only the mother of a sick child could understand the worry and endless anxiety, the constant trips to doctors and the frustration of not recovering from an illness. I was not ready to face the risk of surgery for my baby; there is always a risk of death, even though the surgeons try to minimalize it. And I resisted putting tubes in because my research indicated it would not cure the underlying problem. It would help release some of the fluid, but the child would still get infections.
In the meantime, I had tried a few natural remedies but nothing was helping. I needed professional guidance. I thank God for the day I found Dr. Stengler's website and book! Even though we live outside the United States, we arranged for a consultation over the telephone and I followed his instructions to the letter. Four weeks later, Zaina's ENT specialist was amazed.... her ears were completely clear! He kept checking his records, thinking he'd made a mistake, because just four weeks earlier she needed surgery... a surgery which I'd been delaying for a good four months.
